Breeder Advertisement (1 July to 30 June)
LRCV Breeder Recognition Scheme
AIM:
The Breeder Recognition Scheme (also known as the 'Paw Print Scheme') aims to recognise breeders for their continued participation in a range of Dogs Victoria recognised activities, other dog sports or community involvement.
Evidence of continued participation with DV recognised activities, dog sports or community involvement must be supplied to the Club.
Breeders who meet the conditions will have their details published on the Club’s website (hyperlinks to their own website if applicable) and the corresponding paw prints attained.
CONDITIONS:
- Active and continuous membership with the Labrador Retriever Club of Victoria for at least two years.
- Breeder must have obtained a prefix through Dogs Victoria (or other state canine control body).
Note for stud owners: for stud dogs to be listed on the breeders’ page, the owner must provide evidence of the recommended health tests (see stud dog application form).
- The breeder/stud dog owner must attend and participate in the breeder forum (or review the recording/resources). To maintain their listing, the breeder/stud dog owner is required to attend the breeder forum once a year unless there are any updates to Legislation or advice from Dogs Victoria which necessitates a supplementary forum.

Please submit the completed Breeder Recognition Form with required information and send to the Club Secretary.

AT THE END OF EACH CALENDAR MONTH - submission of complete show and/or trial results, articles and photos to be included in the next newsletter. Newsletters are published every two months (6 newsletters in a year). Some of the articles in the newsletter can be viewed in the members only page.

TITLE RECOGNITION APPLICATIONS - all titles obtained from 1 January to 31 December must be received on or before 7th of January of the following year. To be eligible, a person applying for their dog's title recognition, the person must be a financial member of the Club on the day that the title has been granted. Please download the form and submit to the Club together with all relevant paperwork.
- MEMBERSHIP RENEWALS - due at the end of the year. Membership is from 1 January to the 31 December. Go to Membership (labvic.org.au) to renew online.
