Kirsi Luomanen (UK)
Keith Millington first started training dogs in 1970 and has competed and judged in Obedience, Agility, Rally, Retrieving Ability Tests for Gundogs and Endurance Tests. He became a full panel Obedience Judge in 1978 and has judged in most states in Australia since then, and has judged in Singapore several times.
In the past, Keith has held many administrative positions at both club and state level, including President and Life Member of te Southern Districts Kennel and Obedience Dog Club, the Gundog Club of South Australia and the North Australian Canine Association. Keith was the first SA Agility judge to gain an Agility title with his Golden Retriever.
His current duties are:
- Instructing at the Gundog Club of South Australia
- A member of the Judges Assessing panel for Agility and Obedience
- Training his Toller in Agility and Retrieving
The most recent additions to the Millington family are Tiffany and Hannah, two Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retrievers (Tollers), who have achieved their Conformation Champion titles, Tracking Champion titles and working through their Agility, Obedience, Rally and Retrieving titles.
Life outside dogs does exist, as Keith is a past president of the Rotary Club of Mitcham Inc. and is currently a member of the Rotary Club of Barossa Valley.
Kathleen Millington has been active in dog sports for many years having shown champions, competed in agility trials, trained dogs to UD titles and has gained a Rally Advance Excellent title. Kathleen has also recently qualified for a Tracking Champion with her Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever.
Her judging experience includes officiating at NSW, Victoria, Western Australia and South Australian State Titles. Kathleen has judged in all states of Australia and in Singapore.
Kathleen has a Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever, but also has owned, bred, and trained Shetland Sheepdogs and Cavalier King Charles Spaniels. She is a life member of the Southern Districts Kennel and Obedience Dog Club. She is training for Agility at Masters level.
